How We Brought the Clinic to Life
The Nyack Veterinary Clinic renovation was approached with the care and expertise our clients have come to expect from Deon Design. With a tight timeline and a high-performance environment in mind, this medical office construction phase was coordinated to ensure long-lasting results.
Demolition & Framing:
We started with a complete gut of the old interior to prepare the space for a brand-new layout. Framing for separation walls came next, setting the foundation for optimized room flow and functional space distribution.
Medical Center -Grade Flooring & Wall Systems:
We installed linoleum flooring specifically designed for medical use, providing both durability and ease of cleaning. The floors were protected with RAM boards immediately after installation to avoid any damage during the final stages of the project. Walls were expertly framed, insulated, and finished with high-quality sheetrock and smooth painting work by our commercial remodeling contractors crew.
Ceilings, Cabinets & Tile Work:
Suspended ceilings were added to accommodate lighting and HVAC access, ensuring a clean and streamlined look. Tile work was completed for functional and aesthetic purposes in wet areas, and our team moved on to installing custom cabinets designed to hold medical supplies and equipment securely and efficiently.
Electrical & Fire Safety Systems:
Upgrading the electrical system was critical to power new medical equipment and ensure reliability. In tandem, we installed state-of-the-art fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, bringing the clinic up to modern safety standards and creating a secure environment for animals, staff, and clients.
